Irish Design Studio Orior Looks to the 70s With Upholstered Chair and Sofa Duo

Irish design studio Orior has unveiled its latest upholstered furniture series, called Néad. Consisting of a sofa and a chair, Néad made its official debut at NYCxDESIGN in May.Inspired by 1970s design pieces, the burnt orange sofa and chair come upholstered in wide velvet textiles. Orior craftsmen looked to the decade's conversation pits, which embodied a "nest-like" quality.
